Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Pathology Diagnostic Services Navigator to support subspecialty workflows, coordinate reporting, and ensure accurate documentation within Epic. You will work closely with pathologists, clinical teams, and referents to keep cases moving and maintain timely communication.

Responsibilities include tracking slides, coordinating material requests, preparing for tumor boards and conferences, and ensuring compliance with policies and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, health science, health administration, or related field.
• 1-2 Years work experience in Laboratory, Administrative Healthcare
• Experience with computer systems required, including web-based applications, which may include Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsabilités

• Subspecialty Support: serve as primary operational contact for assigned pathology subspecialty; route inquiries and respond timely.
• Pathology Consultation Reporting Support: assist with incorporation and reconciliation of outside reports and materials; maintain documentation.
• Coordinate molecular and cytogenetic requests for internal and external reference laboratories; track status of results.
• Prepare for presentation for clinical medical conferences, including tumor boards and teaching conferences; gather images/slides/blocks.
• Communicate effectively with pathologists, laboratory personnel, clinical staff, and external facilities regarding case status and testing coordination.
• Ensure all workflows are completed in accordance with departmental policies, regulations, and quality assurance procedures.
