Job summary

Foster Farms is hiring for Breast Meat Packaging/Over Crew-Swing Shift in Kelso, WA, on-site. Starting pay is $19.00 per hour with shift premiums of $0.50 for 4pm-midnight and $1.00 for midnight-8am, plus longevity and attendance bonuses.

Essential duties include cutting, packing, labeling, and stacking chicken parts while rotating through production areas. Benefits include health, dental, vision, FSA, EAP, tuition reimbursement, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must submit to pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Able to work overtime and weekends as scheduled.
• Follow GMPs and all Food Safety procedures.
• Capable of bending, climbing, stooping, and standing for long periods.
• Ability to work in cold or hot environments as required.
• Proficient with small handheld tools (knives, scissors).

Responsibilities

• Cut chicken into segments using handheld tools.
• Pack product into foam trays and/or plastic bags.
• Place labels and arrange trays with chicken parts.
• Rotate through production positions during shift.
• Visually inspect and grade chicken parts for production lines.
• Communicate with supervision and co-workers about tasks and production issues.
