Job summary

Qualifications

• Certification and Registration with ARRT in Diagnostic Radiology (required).
• Advanced modality registration in Mammography, ARRT (preferred, or must obtain within 1 year).
• State Licensure (preferred, unless required by the state where the job is being performed).
• BLS Basic Life Support – American Heart Association (preferred upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Perform all breast imaging and DEXA procedures.
• Assist the radiologist in invasive breast procedures.
• Document and convey patient's clinical history prior to examination.
• Selects and operates breast imaging equipment.
• Provide patient education and discharge instructions.
