Job summary

Parkland Health is seeking a Mammography Navigator to guide patients through the breast imaging journey, coordinating care from screening to diagnosis and beyond. You will educate patients, address barriers, and collaborate with radiology teams to ensure timely imaging and quality care.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, plus Radiography/MRI/Nuclear Medicine credentials and a current MRT license in Texas. This is a full-time on-site position in the Dallas area.

Qualifications

• Four years of progressive responsibility in Breast Imaging operations.
• Knowledge of imaging workflows and quality monitoring.
• Previous patient navigation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule biopsies and follow-up imaging as requested.
• Contact patients lost to follow-up for rescheduling.
• Educate patients and coordinate with radiology staff.
• Assist Mobile Coordinator to ensure timely follow-up imaging.
• Review pathology results in EPIC and communicate with radiology team.
• Assess patient needs, including financial and transportation barriers.
