Job summary

The University of California- Davis Health is seeking a Breast Health Navigator (BHN), an RN with advanced radiology nursing expertise who will coordinate care across screening, diagnostic, and treatment pathways for patients undergoing Mammography.

You will collaborate with Radiology leadership to ensure timely, patient-centered services, mentor staff, and contribute to policy updates within the Mammography program at the Ellison Ambulatory Care Center in Sacramento.

Qualifications

• Valid California RN license without restriction.
• AHA BLS or UC Davis Health CPR.
• Breast Health Navigator Certification within 24 months of hire.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• 1 year Radiology RN or Navigator experience.
• 3 years RN experience.
• English language proficiency in reading, writing and speaking.
• Ability to use medical terminology appropriately.
• Knowledge of current nursing trends.
• Commitment to excellence in patient care.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Accountability and professionalism.
• Ability to adapt to change in a positive, professional manner.
• Basic computer skills.
