Job summary

TOPS Comprehensive Breast Center is seeking a Breast Center Scheduler to manage daily surgery scheduling and coordination between doctors' offices and OR staff. The role supports multiple centers but will be based at the Red Oak Breast Center location in a weekday-only schedule.

The position emphasizes customer service, medical terminology familiarity, and efficient scheduling processes under the Business Office Manager's guidance.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• One year previous experience or hospital clerical experience or medical terminology preferred.
• Must have the skills necessary to operate office equipment.
• Medical terminology and computer experience beneficial.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Business Office Manager, responsible for daily maintenance of the surgery schedule and all aspects of the scheduling process.
• Includes strategizing and problem solving and ensuring high levels of customer service with scheduling coordinators from all doctors' offices and Operating Room Staff.
