Job summary

United Surgical Partners International's TOPS Comprehensive Breast Center in Houston is seeking a Breast Center Scheduler. This role coordinates with physicians and patients to schedule appointments, aiming to minimize wait times and educate patients about procedures.

Based at Red Oak Breast Center, you will support efficient breast imaging services and partner with medical staff to ensure smooth operations and a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification required.
• Proficient typing/ keyboarding skills.
• One year of experience in a hospital or customer service setting.
• Ability to promote favorable facility image with physicians, patients, insurance companies, and general public.
• Preferred Imaging experience and knowledge.

Responsibilities

Supports all 4 TOPS Comprehensive Breast Centers, but will be based out of the Red Oak Breast Center location.

Job Summary:

Responsible for coordinating with the physician offices and patients to ensure accurate, prompt and courteous scheduling of appointments. He/she will strive to minimize patient wait time in the department and will do his/her best to educate patients/families about procedures being performed. Demonstrates the primary goal of efficiently providing breast imaging services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED certification
• CPR Certification
• Proficient typing/ keyboarding skills
• One year of experience in a hospital or customer service setting
• Cooperative work attitude toward co-employees, management, patients, visitors, and physicians
• Ability to promote favorable facility image with physicians, patients, insurance companies, and general public
