Job summary

TOPS Comprehensive Breast Center, based in Red Oak, Texas, is hiring a Breast Center Scheduler to join our healthcare team. You will coordinate with physician offices and patients to ensure accurate, prompt scheduling, educate patients about procedures, and help minimize wait times in the department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certification.
• CPR Certification.
• Proficient typing/ keyboarding skills.
• One year of experience in a hospital or customer service setting.
• Cooperative work attitude toward co-employees, management, patients, visitors, and physicians.
• Ability to promote favorable facility image with physicians, patients, insurance companies, and general public.
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems.
• Preferred Imaging experience and knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling with physician offices and patients.
• Strive to minimize patient wait time in the department.
• Educate patients and families about procedures performed.
• Support efficient breast imaging services to exceed expectations and improve operations.
