TOPS Comprehensive Breast Center is seeking a Breast Center Scheduler to join ourteam. This role supports all four TOPS centers and will be based out of the Red Oak Breast Center location, coordinating with physician offices and patients to ensure accurate, prompt scheduling.

You will strive to minimize patient wait time, educate patients and families about procedures, and help deliver breast imaging services that meet high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in hospital or similar setting.
• Proficient typing/keyboard skills required.
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems.
• Cooperative attitude toward staff, patients and physicians.

You will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our patients, while upholding our core beliefs of value, integrity, continuity, accessibility, and community engagement.

Job Summary:

Responsible for coordinating with the physician offices and patients to ensure accurate, prompt and courteous scheduling of appointments. He/she will strive to minimize patient wait time in the department and will do his/her best to educate patients/families about procedures being performed. Demonstrates the primary goal of efficiently providing breast imaging services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED certification
• CPR Certification
• Proficient typing/ keyboarding skills
• One year of experience in a hospital or customer service setting
• Cooperative work attitude toward co-employees, management, patients, visitors, and physicians
• Ability to promote favorable facility image with physicians, patients, insurance companies, and general public
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems
• Preferred Imaging experience and knowledge
