Job summary

MyMichigan Health is seeking a Breast Health Program Coordinator to streamline patient flow in the breast care continuum. You will coordinate scheduling for imaging and biopsies, review orders for protocol accuracy, and ensure efficient communication between breast cancer nurse navigators, providers, and scheduling teams.

The role requires data collection, reporting, and independent work with minimal direct supervision.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic PC skills and data entry for record keeping.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Clear, professional communication with patients and teams.
• Mandatory TB testing and OSHA training as required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance of additional breast imaging tests, biopsies, and referrals through dashboards or workflows.
• Coordinate patient flow by pre-registering and scheduling appointments and verifying orders.
• Collect data and generate statistical reports on demographics, volumes, and referral trends.
• Handle order entry and PACS image management within computer systems.
