Job summary

PEG Company in Anchorage, AK is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to prepare all breakfast items for the buffet, follow recipes, stock and present food according to brand standards, and keep dining areas neat.

You will greet guests, replenish supplies, clean, assist with inventory, and ensure food safety and sanitation at all times while maintaining a positive, professional demeanor and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Food handler’s permit required.
• Prior experience as a server in a restaurant, café, or hotel environment preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability and willingness to work a varied and flexible schedule including weekends, days, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly, warmly, and courteously.
• Restock and clean condiment areas, empty trash and recycling as needed.
• Prepare all food items according to instructions, ensuring proper sanitation methods are used.
• Bus/clear tables in dining area to ensure a clean and inviting environment.
• Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
• Assist with inventory counts and ordering as requested by management.
• Ensure all food handling, safety, and sanitization protocols are followed at all times.
• Promptly respond to guest with any additional request.
• Wash and clean any dishes used during service. Clean kitchen area. Rotate stock to ensure freshness and excellent food quality.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service stations, and workspaces.
• Complete pre- and post-shift responsibilities including stocking, cleaning, mopping floors, cleaning service areas.
• Report any maintenance issues or damaged equipment.
• Maintain professionalism with coworkers and guests.
