Job summary

Keke's Breakfast Cafe in Nashville is seeking an upbeat server to welcome guests, take orders, and ensure a memorable dining experience. You will greet guests, advise on specials, and recommend menu items while maintaining efficient service and accuracy.

You will input orders into the POS, prepare beverages as needed, deliver meals promptly, and help keep the dining area clean. A supportive team environment and competitive tips are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 6 hours).
• Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in the predominant language(s) of our guests.
• Must have exceptional grooming habits.
• Possess excellent basic math skills and have the ability to operate a cash register or POS system.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests as they enter and greet them at the table.
• Inform guests of specials and menu changes; make recommendations.
• Take food and beverage orders and enter them in the POS system quickly.
• Prepare coffee, tea, and toast when needed.
• Deliver food and beverages from kitchen to guests promptly.
• Maintain clean service areas and pre-bus tables when required.
• Ensure guests are satisfied and respond promptly to requests.
• Present final bill and process payment; handle change if applicable.
• Be available to assist co-workers to ensure smooth restaurant operation.
