Job summary

First Hospitality's Hotel Leveque is seeking a Restaurant Server to deliver attentive and inspiring tableside service. You will expand guests' dining experiences by knowing menu items, making recommendations, and ensuring accurate orders with a proactive, service-oriented approach.

Role requires engaging guests, maintaining professionalism, and collaborating with the restaurant team to exceed guest expectations. Excellent communication and the ability to stand for long periods are essential.

Qualifications

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in the primary language used in the workplace.
• Ability to stand and walk 8+ hours per day and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Maintain professionalism and guest focus throughout shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the restaurant for service by cleaning spaces and stocking supplies.
• Know details on menu items to provide food and beverage recommendations.
• Accurately detail each order with accuracy and guest satisfaction in mind.
• Engage with guests to identify needs and ensure satisfaction.
• Communicate special needs or requests and resolve guest challenges with the team.
• Maintain cleanliness of restaurant spaces during and after shifts.
• Communicate restaurant emergency procedures and assist guests in emergencies.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned by restaurant leadership.
