Job summary

The Bellmoor Inn & Spa in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware seeks a Hospitality Associate to prepare dining tables, assist servers, and maintain clean, well-stocked stations. You will help guests with inquiries and ensure timely, friendly service in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma, prior hospitality experience preferred, and be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work mornings, weekends, and holidays. Bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English; other languages beneficial.
• Frequently standing up, bending, climbing, kneeling, and moving about the facility.
• Will be required to regularly use commercial cleaning chemicals.
• Carrying, lifting or pulling items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Will be required to work mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set and prepare tables for dining, including folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, serving water.
• Ensure tableware is in good and working condition and report any defects for repair.
• Stock, maintain and clean designated food station(s) / server station(s).
• Assist food server(s) with table service, including serving beverages, bread and butter.
• Retrieve and transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
• Clear dirty table settings and prepare tables for resetting.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
