Job summary

EOS Hospitality seeks a detail-oriented team member to set tables, assist servers, and maintain clean dining areas. The role involves preparing dining spaces, handling tableware, and providing friendly guest service.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma, hospitality background preferred, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Regular morning, weekend, and holiday shifts are expected. Pre-employment background check and equal opportunity employer statements apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous background from the hospitality industry preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English; other languages beneficial.
• Frequently standing up, bending, climbing, kneeling, and moving about the facility.
• Will be required to regularly use commercial cleaning chemicals.
• Carrying, lifting or pulling items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Will be required to work mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set and prepare tables for dining, including folding napkins and placing tableware.
• Ensure tableware is in good condition and report defects for repair.
• Stock, maintain and clean food stations/server stations.
• Assist servers with table service, including serving beverages and bread.
• Retrieve and transport dirty tableware to the dishwashing area for cleaning.
• Clear dirty settings and reset tables; respond to guest inquiries promptly.

Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Set and prepare tables for dining, including, but not limited to, folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, serving water, etc.
• Ensure tableware is in good and working condition and report any defects for repair
• Stock, maintain and clean designated food station(s) / server station(s)
• Assist food server(s) with table service, including, but not limited to, serving beverages, bread and butter, etc.
• Retrieve and transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area for proper cleaning
• Clear dirty table settings and prepare tables for resetting
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
