Bellini at Mr. C Coconut Grove is hiring a Salad Line Cook to join our kitchen team and prepare dishes to the chef’s specifications. The Breakfast Line Cook's duties will include assisting the executive and sous chef with daily tasks and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Ultimately, you will contribute to delivering a pleasant dining experience for our guests. A strong team player with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy kitchen is ideal.

• Prior experience as a line cook or similar role

Bellini at Mr. C Coconut Grove is looking to hire a Salad Line Cook to join our kitchen staff and maintain cleanliness around our restaurant.

YOUR ROLE AS A BREAKFAST LINE COOK

We are looking for a Salad Line Cook t o prepare food to the exact chef’s specifications and to set up stations for the menu. The Breakfast Line Cook's duties will consist of assisting the executive and sous chef with their daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:

• Keeping track of meal prep components to ensure timely completion of final dishes
• Chopping and preparing vegetables and other non-meat ingredients
• Stocking ingredients and kitchen supplies
• Maintaining clean and sanitized workstations
• Checking perishable ingredients and food items for freshness
• Understanding of portions when cutting and slicing meat, poultry and seafood
• Comprehension skills when reading order tickets and recipes
• Hand-eye coordination when using kitchen tools and cooking utensils
• Taking daily measures to prevent food cross-contamination
• Maintain a clean station at all times

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

• Work experience as a linecook or similar role
• Willingness to work as a team player when preparing dishes and coordinating meal service
• Organizational skills to maintain an orderly workspace and kitchen

• Hands-on experience with professional kitchen equipment
• Good knowledge of food plating techniques
• Understanding of health and safety rules in a kitchen
• Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods of time when cooking and preparing food
• Willingness to work required shifts, i.e., night shift, breakfast rush, including evenings and weekends
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• A degree from a culinary school is a plus
