Are you an early riser who takes pride in great food, consistency, organization, and starting the day strong?
Emmaline’s Cocktails & Provisions is looking for a dependable and experienced Breakfast Cook to join our morning culinary team. You’ll work in a new kitchen with state-of-the-art equipment and a supportive team that values quality, teamwork, respect, food safety, and genuine hospitality.
Our Breakfast Cook plays an important role in the guest experience. For many of our guests, breakfast is their first interaction of the day with our Food & Beverage team—and we want it to be a great one.
If you enjoy a fast-paced morning environment, take pride in presentation and consistency, and like being part of a team that gets things done, we’d love to meet you.
Requirements
About the Role
As our Breakfast Cook, you’ll be responsible for preparing and executing breakfast for both hotel guests and Emmaline’s restaurant diners, including à la carte and buffet service.
But the role doesn’t stop when breakfast ends.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare breakfast items according to standardized recipes, portioning, and presentation standards.
- Execute both à la carte and buffet breakfast service efficiently and consistently.
- Set up, maintain, restock, and break down breakfast stations.
- Monitor food quality, temperatures, portion sizes, presentation, and ticket times throughout service.
- Prepare breakfast items for banquets, groups, and buffet setups as needed.
- Prepare and stock fresh products for our Grab & Go program.
- Complete daily prep and production lists.
- Receive food and supply deliveries and verify products are properly received and stored.
- Stock deliveries in designated coolers, freezers, dry-storage, and kitchen areas promptly and safely.
- Properly label, date, store, and rotate food products using FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
- Help maintain organized coolers, freezers, dry storage, and food-production areas.
- Check and accurately record required temperatures for coolers, freezers, and other refrigerated storage equipment.
- Monitor and document temperatures of food items, including cold-held, hot-held, and prepared foods, as required.
- Recognize temperature or food-safety concerns and immediately communicate any issues requiring corrective action to culinary leadership.
- Maintain accurate and complete daily food-safety and temperature logs.
- Follow proper food-handling, sanitation, cross-contamination prevention, and food-safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workstation and kitchen.
- Communicate effectively with servers, hosts, and culinary leadership to keep breakfast service running smoothly.
- Assist with dishwashing and general kitchen cleanliness when needed.
- Support other culinary and Food & Beverage operations as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Why Emmaline’s?
We’re building more than a restaurant team. Emmaline’s is part of the guest experience at DoubleTree Greenville Airport, and our culinary team has the opportunity to serve restaurant guests, hotel travelers, groups, banquets, and special events.
You’ll work with modern equipment in a new kitchen while gaining experience across several areas of hotel Food & Beverage—not just one station.
If you’re dependable, enjoy mornings, take pride in the food you put on the plate, and understand the importance of cleanliness, organization, food safety, and doing things the right way, we’d love to hear from you.
