Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts seeks a kitchen team member to prepare foods with consistent quality, follow recipes, and support kitchen operations at our property in Atlanta. The role requires attention to portion control, food safety, and collaboration with servers to meet guest expectations.

Responsibilities include setting up stations, initiating prepped items, rotating stock, and ensuring equipment is clean and functional. A hotel background and reliability are preferred for a smooth daily workflow.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Dexterity to operate food machinery with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry up to 100 lbs. continuously.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and standards.
• Start items prepared ahead of time to avoid over-preparation.
• Maintain proper food temperatures and rotate per standards.
• Keep buffet stocked and date/cover perishables.
• Assist in controlling food costs and waste.
