Job summary

Atrium Hospitality's Portland Embassy Suites in Portland, OR is seeking a breakfast cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare and plate breakfast items using standardized recipes, support daily breakfast setup, and help open/close operations to ensure a smooth start.

The role requires prior culinary or food service experience, a focus on food safety, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a positive, team-first attitude with morning, weekend, and holiday availability.

Qualifications

• Prior culinary or food service experience (6 months preferred).
• Certified in Food Safety or willingness to obtain within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast items with consistency using standardized recipes.
• Support breakfast setup, line prep, and kitchen opening/closing duties.
• Follow food safety guidelines and maintain a clean workspace.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment and dishwashing stations.
• Ensure proper prep for the following day and assist with inventory rotation.
