Job summary

The Pell in Middletown, RI is seeking a Breakfast Cook for a full-time role to prepare all food items per standardized recipes for Restaurants, Room Service, Employee Cafeteria and Banquets, while maintaining top quality and safety.

The ideal candidate has culinary experience, a High School diploma or equivalent, and flexibility for long hours. You will work to ensure cleanliness, proper sanitation, and cost-conscious preparation across outlets.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field.
• Culinary experience required.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Knowledge of menus and hotel standards.
• Proficiency in cooking techniques listed in the job description.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all storage areas.
• Prepare and display buffet items according to hotel standards.
• Cook and prepare items for Restaurants, Room Service, Employee Cafeteria and Banquets.
• Follow health department and company regulations for safety and sanitation.
• Support other kitchen positions as needed.
• Utilize production charts and maintain proper food handling and storage.
