Job summary

Hotel Fera, a DoubleTree by Hilton in Orange County, seeks a Breakfast Cook to join our Culinary team. You will craft breakfast dishes, ensure proper storage and portion control, and deliver guest-focused service from the moment guests enter the dining area.

The role requires at least 1 year of hotel cooking experience, high school diploma or equivalent, and a Food Service certificate; managers Food Handlers certification is also required. We offer comprehensive benefits and hotel discounts.

Qualifications

High school diploma or its equivalent.
Completion of Culinary or Apprenticeship Program preferred.
Minimum of 1 year cook experience in hotel preferred.
Minimum of 1 year cook experience in a similar role, size of operation required.
Managers Food Handlers Certification required.
Food Service (required).

Responsibilities

Deliver best-in-class service to our guests with engagement and thoughtfulness.
Crafts dishes according to standard recipes or guest specifications.
Ensures meticulous product storage and precise portion control for each dish.
Minimizes spoilage and waste through effective product rotation.
Monitors food, produce, and cooking supply levels to facilitate timely reordering.
Maintains impeccable cleanliness and functionality of refrigeration, storage, and work areas.
