Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to provide exceptional service in the complimentary breakfast area of a hotel. You will greet guests, maintain cleanliness, and support beverage and food service across shifts.

The role requires attention to detail, a flexible schedule, and knowledge of food safety. Candidates should have a High School diploma, be able to pass TIPs, and obtain a Food Handlers card as required by local regulations.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform job function with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• Must be willing and able to work varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must meet the legal age to serve alcoholic beverages and pass responsible serving course (TIPs).
• Must obtain Food Handlers card as required by city/county/state.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests at appropriate tables in a timely manner.
• Provide high standard of personal appearance and grooming; wear uniform and name tag.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of breakfast area and service spaces.
• Assist with beverage and food service, including preparation and restocking as needed.
• Perform opening/closing procedures and side work per shift rotation.
• Handle cashiering, closing checks, and end-of-shift paperwork as required.
• Answer questions about the hotel, local area attractions, and services.
• Produce high quality drinks including coffee, tea, and beverages as required.
