Job summary

The Fearrington House in Fearrington Village, NC is seeking a dedicated line cook to join our award-winning restaurant team. The role involves daily food preparation, station setup, following recipes, maintaining sanitation, and supporting the Chef and Sous Chef on shift.

This is a full-time position with hours Thursday–Monday, 6am–2pm, with occasional midweek shifts. After a 90-day probation, benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, PTO, a 20% village discount, annual complimentary

Qualifications

• Skilled professional cooking with knife handling and sanitation.
• English language communications skills.
• Ability to work in a team and handle pressure.

Responsibilities

• Set up station according to restaurant guidelines.
• Prepare all items in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Follow recipes, portion control and presentation as set by the Restaurant.
• Restock items as needed during the shift.
• Maintain station cleanliness and safety; assist with kitchen organization.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by Chef, Sous Chef or Executive Chef.
