Job summary

Fearrington Village in North Carolina seeks a full-time pastry cook to prepare pastries, cookies and desserts for guests. You will follow recipes, help develop new items, and ensure all products are fresh before serving.

The role requires maintaining sanitary storage areas and safe work practices, with weekend and holiday availability. Compensation is hourly based on experience, with full benefits after a 90-day probation.

• Prepare pastries, cookies and desserts for guests

• Keep coolers and storage areas neat, organized and sanitary
• Ensure all work areas are safe and report unsafe conditions
• Other duties as assigned

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing pastries, cookiesand desserts for guests
• Following recipes and assisting in the development of new recipes
• Following prep list and ensuring all products are fresh before serving
• Ensuring all coolers and storage areas are maintained, neat, organized, and rotatedMaintaining highest sanitary conditions
• Ensuring all work areas are safe & reporting any unsafe conditions
• Other duties as assigned
