Job Summary:

We’re looking for a breakfast attendant with excellent people skills who is motivated and attentive to provide our guests with a memorable dining experience. You will be in charge of setting up and breaking down the breakfast buffet each morning while ensuring that fruits, condiments, beverages, and bakery items are well-stocked. Additional responsibilities include carrying coffee pots and beverages throughout the room, refilling guests’ cups and glasses as needed or requested, and removing used dishes and utensils. Responsibilities:

• Ensure setup is complete each morning for the breakfast buffet and fresh foods are always available during the service hours.
• Coordinate with the kitchen as necessary to keep all hot food items stocked on the buffet.
• Serve guests with coffee and other drink orders while they are in the dining area and replenish as necessary.
• Clean the breakfast area, including the tables, chairs, and buffet bar as needed, and empty garbage.
• Remove plates and dishes from tables throughout the breakfast service using appropriate techniques for removing plates, glasses, and silverware promptly.
• Address visitor questions and requests promptly, courteously, and efficiently.
• Follow health and safety protocols to clean and sanitize service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment.
• Ensure all glassware and silverware are properly washed, sanitized, dried, and re-rolled/stored at the end of breakfast service.

Qualifications:

• Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification.
• Experience working in food service is preferred.
• Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality.
• Outstanding time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with guests and other team members.

Scheduling and Compensation:

• The work schedule will vary based on weekly bookings.
• 6 A.M. start time is typical.
• The ending time will vary based on bookings.
• Gratuity is included in compensation.
