The Gallerie Team at the Hilton Columbus Downtown is currently seeking a Full-Time Buffet Attendant to work at our award-winning property.

What will I be doing?

A Buffet Attendant is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and breaking down the buffet or food bar. This should be handled in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely, and professional manner to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction. Specifically, responsibilities include:

1. Replenish needed food and supplies by retrieving items from the kitchen and storerooms to ensure adequate food amounts are always maintained.
2. Set up buffet food bar as instructed by the manager through verbal and/or written communication.
3. Recommend and describe buffet items to guests using a clear and pleasant speaking voice.
4. Visually check the station before, during, and after the shift for proper setup, cleanliness, and aesthetically appealing presentation of the food bar.
5. Lift and place trays of food into the buffet bar efficiently and quietly, following safety standards.
