Job summary

Omni Interlocken Resort is seeking a passionate Line Cook for breakfast and brunch service. You will prepare all food to specification, work on an outlet line, and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely, quality dishes.

Open to a full-time, on-site role with benefits; prior hotel/restaurant line cook experience strongly preferred. Must meet schedule demands including mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of culinary experience in a hotel or fast-paced kitchen.
• Able to work without immediate supervision and with others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Basic math skills and understanding of weights and measures.
• Able to follow recipes and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently prepare all menu items on direction with supervision.
• Know culinary fundamentals and techniques.
• Work on a hot/cold line and manage timelines for service.
• Keep prep sheets and station guides organized to prep for service.
• Utilize culinary equipment safely and correctly.
• Present plates to meet specifications.
• Communicate effectively with team members and maintain professionalism.
• Attend monthly department meetings and trainings.
• Complete other duties assigned by management.
