Job summary

InnVentures' Residence Inn San Diego, Poway CA location is seeking a Breakfast Attendant dedicated to creating memorable guest experiences. You will prepare buffet items, greet guests warmly, and ensure a quality dining experience that helps guests stay productive while away from home.

The position emphasizes hospitality, reliability, and teamwork with hotel departments. Some locations require permits; strong English communication and the ability to stand for long shifts are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous food handling or fast food experience is preferred, but not required.
• Must have reliable transport allowing you to be to work by 5AM.
• You must be able to obtain a Food Handler’s Permit and some locations require an Alcohol Server’s Permit.
• To be successful in this role, you need basic English verbal and written communication skills.
• You must be able to read and write.
• This job requires you to stand and move around for an entire shift and you also must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items, prep, stock and maintain the buffet.
• Offer flexibility and creativity to meet guest requests.
• Proactively assist guests with eye contact and a warm greeting.
• Wash dishes, clean the kitchen and maintain daily checklists and temperature logs.
• Assist with inventory, ordering and receiving of all food and beverage items.
• Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
