Job summary

Residence Inn San Diego Poway is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to deliver a quality dining experience that helps guests stay productive away from home. You will prepare items, stock the buffet, greet guests warmly, and maintain logs to ensure food safety.

Qualifications

• Food handling or fast food experience preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation for 5AM start.
• Basic English verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items, prep, stock and maintain the buffet.
• Offer flexibility and creativity to meet guest requests.
• Proactively assist guests with eye contact and a warm greeting.
• Wash dishes, clean the kitchen and maintain daily checklists and temperature logs.
• Assist with inventory, ordering and receiving of all food and beverage items.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items, prep, stock and maintain the buffet.
• Offer flexibility and creativity to meet guest requests.

• Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.

Qualifications

Previous food handling or fast food experience is preferred, but not required. Must have relaible transportaion allowing you to be to work by 5AM. You must be able to obtain a Food Handler’s Permit and some locations require an Alcohol Server’s Permit. To be successful in this role, you need basic English verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to read and write. This job requires you to stand and move around for an entire shift and you also must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.
