Job summary

InnVentures in Lake Oswego, OR is seeking an entry‑level food service team member to prepare buffet items, stock stations, greet guests warmly, and support kitchen operations throughout each shift. Prior food handling experience is preferred but not required.

You must be able to stand for long periods, lift at least 25 pounds, and follow safety and cleanliness procedures while delivering friendly, high‑quality service to guests.

Qualifications

• Previous food handling or fast food experience is preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to obtain a Food Handler’s Permit and possibly an Alcohol Server’s Permit.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items, prep, stock and maintain the buffet.
• Offer flexibility and creativity to meet guest requests.
• Proactively assist guests with eye contact and a warm greeting.
• Wash dishes, clean the kitchen and maintain daily checklists and temperature logs.
• Assist with inventory, ordering and receiving of all food and beverage items.
• Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
