Job summary

InnVentures is seeking a Breakfast Attendant at Residence Inn San Diego, Poway CA to deliver a quality dining experience for guests starting early each day.

You will prepare breakfast items, stock the buffet, greet guests warmly, and maintain kitchen cleanliness while adhering to health standards. Prior food handling experience is preferred, and you must be able to arrive by 5AM with reliable transport. Some locations may require a Food Handler's Permit or Alcohol Server's Permit.

Qualifications

• Food handling or fast food experience preferred
• Must have reliable transport to arrive by 5AM
• Food Handler's Permit required; Alcohol Server's Permit may be required at some locations
• Basic English verbal and written communication skills; reading and writing required
• Must stand and move for entire shift; able to lift 25 pounds

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items, prep, stock and maintain the buffet
• Offer flexibility and creativity to meet guest requests
• Proactively greet guests with eye contact and warmth
• Wash dishes, clean the kitchen and maintain daily checklists and temperature logs
• Assist with inventory, ordering and receiving of all food and beverage items
• Support hotel goals through teamwork with all departments

Previous food handling or fast food experience is preferred, but not required. Must have relaible transportaion allowing you to be to work by 5AM. You must be able to obtain a Food Handler's Permit and some locations require an Alcohol Server's Permit. To be successful in this role, you need basic English verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to read and write. This job requires you to stand and move around for an entire shift and you also must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.
