We are looking for an early riser to join our Food and Beverage team as our Breakfast Attendant at Residence Inn Tampa at USF/Medical Center!

Overview

The Breakfast Attendant sets up the dining area for daily meals. Ensures side work is complete prior to meal service and prior to leaving for the day. Prepares deli items, salad bar, and other items as designated by supervisor, following approved recipes. Ensures food is of proper quality. Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of all work surface areas, food service areas, coolers, tables, counters, chairs, and floor. Follows the "clean as you go" policy. Monitors associate food use and tallies meals consumed.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Maintain complete knowledge of hours of operation and proper table set-ups for the dining area, expected number of meals to be served, safety and sanitation requirements, and proper storage procedures. Complete opening duties: check quality and stock of all breakfast supplies, requisition supplies, transport supplies to dining area, prepare condiments and beverages, stock utensils and equipment, inspect cleanliness, set tables, and prepare service line.
2. Ensure equipment is in working order, report maintenance issues, receive and store food from kitchen, and prepare produce as assigned.
3. Maintain supply levels of stock, monitor food quality, and replenish as needed throughout the shift.
4. Greet and serve meals to hotel employees, clear tables, wipe down surfaces, and restock stations.
5. Clean and sanitize service lines and equipment, complete closing duties, and organize storage areas.
6. Report damages, hazards, and problems to management, document pertinent information, and ensure the cleanliness of floors.

Education And Experience

Must have a good understanding of the English language.
