The Breakfast Attendant provides exceptional service to guests in the breakfast area of a hotel in an efficient and courteous manner.

Pay Rate

$15.25 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Provide attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented interactions with guests and employees
  • Maintain a professional appearance and wear the proper uniform and name tag
  • Greet and seat guests promptly
  • Ensure cleanliness and appearance of menus
  • Clear, clean, and reset tables and hotel spaces as needed
  • Stock, organize, and maintain service areas
  • Accommodate guest requests and offer alternatives
  • Communicate with departments regarding VIP guests
  • Support food and beverage service, including dishwashing, restocking, cleaning, and floor maintenance
  • Know standards for room service orders
  • Have thorough knowledge of menus and specials
  • Handle cashiering and end-of-shift paperwork
  • Perform opening and closing duties
  • Answer questions about the hotel, local attractions, and services
  • Perform other duties and attend meetings as required
  • Produce high-quality drinks including coffee, tea, cocktails, and other beverages
Qualifications
  • Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Willingness to work varied hours including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Legal age to serve alcohol and pass responsible serving training (e.g., TIPs)
  • Ability to obtain Food Handlers card
  • Ability to evaluate options quickly and accurately
  • Calmness under stress
  • Understanding of hotel products and guest services
