Overview

The Breakfast Attendant sets up the dining area for daily meals, ensures side work is complete prior to meal service, and maintains cleanliness and sanitation. Responsibilities include preparing deli items, salad bar, monitoring food quality, and maintaining work surfaces.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Maintain knowledge of operation hours, table setup, safety, and sanitation requirements.
2. Complete opening duties: check stock, requisition supplies, set up condiments and beverages, stock supplies, inspect cleanliness, set tables, and prepare service areas.
3. Ensure equipment is functional and clean; report issues.
4. Receive and store food, defrost and prepare produce.
5. Maintain stock levels, monitor food quality, and replenish as needed.
6. Greet and serve meals to hotel employees, clear tables, and clean dining areas.
7. Clean and sanitize service lines and equipment.
8. Restock stations for the next meal period, complete closing duties, and organize storage areas.
9. Report damages, hazards, and personnel issues to the manager.
10. Document relevant information in logs and sweep/mop floors.

Education And Experience

Must have a good understanding of the English language.
