Position Overview

Breakfast Attendants are responsible for assembling and disassembling breakfast buffets, ensuring that the buffet remains well‑stocked at all times. In full‑service establishments, they receive orders from customers, communicate these to the kitchen staff, and clear tables.

Essential Job Functions

• Providing personalized service to all guests
• Setting up and maintaining the breakfast bar as required by brand standards
• Taking inventory of food, beverages, and supplies needed for each day
• Preparing foods such as fresh fruit, coffee, and juices from concentration
• Setting out/arranging cold food, such as pastries, cereals, etc.
• Clearing and cleaning tables as they are vacated
• Preparing and setting up hot food items
• Restocking items consistently throughout breakfast hours and for the next day
• Washing serving equipment and returning to storage
• Other duties, projects, and tasks assigned by management

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent experience preferred
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills required
• Reliable transportation to and from work
