Position Overview
The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and cleaning the breakfast area, providing excellent guest service, and ensuring satisfaction.

Essential Functions
- Set up and maintain the breakfast area, ensuring it is attractive, organized, and clean, adhering to brand standards.
- Inventory food, beverages, and supplies needed daily.
- Assist with setting up prepared foods like fruit, coffee, and juices.
- Arrange serving dishes, utensils, cups, and other items.
- Set up cold foods like muffins, cereal, and sweet rolls.
- Clear and clean tables as they are vacated.
- Remove trash from the service area.
- Restock self-service food and supplies as needed.
- Wash and store serving equipment.
- Return reusable supplies after service.
- Perform cleaning tasks: vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing furniture, and cleaning decorations and surfaces.
- Inspect for safety hazards and report maintenance issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Effective communication in English.
- Ability to follow instructions and use checklists.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Engaging with guests and responding to their needs.
Physical Demands
- Standing and walking throughout the shift.
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
- Lifting up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to follow directions and provide excellent customer service.
- Six months of customer service, hotel, or restaurant experience preferred.
