The Breakfast Attendant at Springhill Suites in Lawrence, Kansas, is responsible for preparing and serving the daily breakfast bar, greeting guests, and ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- Experience in hotel or related field preferred.
- Physical requirements:
- Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
- Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

Qualifications
Fundamental Requirements
- Be familiar with all buffet items and assist guests in selections as needed.
- Engage with guests about their stay and assist with service recovery.
- Ensure the quality of food.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, buffet, and equipment.
- Stock coffee, juice, and milk machines or dispensers.
- Take inventory of food, beverages, and supplies needed daily.
- Set up and maintain the breakfast bar according to brand standards.
- Order or purchase food supplies.
- Set up serving dishes, trays, utensils, cups, and other paper products.
- Arrange cold foods like pastries and cereals.
- Clear and clean tables as they are vacated.
- Prepare and set up hot food items.
- Wipe up spills promptly.
- Follow menu requirements provided by the brand.
- Restock items continuously during breakfast hours and for the next day.
