Job summary

Farmers Restaurant Group is seeking a Bread Baker for our King of Prussia, PA location. You will prepare breads from scratch, following recipes, and work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen with a strong emphasis on quality and sanitation.

As part of a growing, farmer-owned restaurant company, you will operate in a lively environment focused on great food, thoughtful sourcing, and continuous professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen or bakery preferred.
• Able to read and follow recipes to standards.
• Capable of bending, lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for 8+ hours.
• Team-oriented in a loud kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items, following standard recipes and procedures within a specified time.
• Read prep list and prep items, as assigned.
• Properly measure and assemble ingredients required to accurately follow recipe or instructions.
• Clean, organize, stock, and maintain work area, walk-in refrigerator, reach-in refrigerator, cooler drawers, prep, and dry storage area.
• Move food in and out of industrial ovens and cook over an open flame.
• Taste, smell, and view food to ensure adherence to quality standards.
