Job summary

The YMCA of Central Texas in Bryan/College Station is seeking an Extension Director for Brazos Valley. This role leads program development, fundraising campaigns, and community partnerships to grow YMCA services in a 7,200 square mile territory.

You will supervise staff, engage volunteers, and work with regional directors to open new service areas, ensuring high-quality programming aligned with the Y’s mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services, social services, or business or equivalent education and experience.
• Five or more years of management and operations experience, preferably in a YMCA or nonprofit.
• Experience in fundraising including campaigns, grants, and planned giving.
• Hands-on experience with volunteer development and program expansion.

Responsibilities

• Lead program development and execution of annual campaigns.
• Direct hands-on leadership to an established Founder Group in Bryan/College Station.
• Open and develop new service area branches with volunteers and local partners.
• Build collaborations with community organizations and funders.
