Job summary

Greater Austin YMCA seeks an Associate Vice President of Operations to drive strategic outcomes, oversee operational excellence, and champion a transformative Y experience across centers and programs. You will lead leadership teams, foster engagement with boards and donors, and coordinate association-wide initiatives to advance mission impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Demonstrated record of leadership at executive level in nonprofit or YMCA context.
• Strong governance, fiscal management, and fundraising capabilities.
• Experience growing membership/program enrollment and managing budgets.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to achieve organizational goals and OKRs.
• Lead operations across centers, programs, and association initiatives.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial health of the organization.
• Drive community partnerships, fundraising, and philanthropy efforts.
• Guide board development and leadership coaching across the network.
• Champion design thinking and social innovation to address community needs.
