Job summary

Bodycote plc in South Windsor, CT is seeking a Braze Assembly C to perform heat treatment prep and brazing to meet customer specifications. The role requires reading blueprints, following specifications, and maintaining safety standards in a heavy industrial environment.

The position is safety-sensitive, requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and involves 40+ hours per week with shifts from 6am to 4:30pm Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday, with a $1,500 sign-on retention bonus available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-2 years of brazing experience preferred.
• Must be able to read blueprints/specifications and wear safety equipment.
• Must demonstrate ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer parts for brazing according to requirements and specs.
• Inspect and receive parts for brazing.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping; comply with EMS.
• Care for customer inventory and prevent loss or damage.
• Follow directions and work with co-workers to meet customer specs.
