Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a skilled Brazer to join our production team. You will assemble copper and other metal components using brazing techniques to ensure efficient cooling systems for data centers.

The role requires 1+ years brazing/welding experience, blueprint literacy, and strict adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced environment. Shift hours include 2:00PM–10:00PM with a base pay of $32.28 and a $5.00 shift differential.

Qualifications

1+ years brazing/welding experience in manufacturing.
Proficiency with oxy-acetylene torches and brazing equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and safety guidelines.
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections.
Team-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Lift up to 50 lbs and work in multiple positions for extended periods.
Knowledge of safety regulations and PPE.
High school diploma or GED; technical certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform brazing and soldering of copper, brass, and other metal components in the fabrication of chiller assemblies.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure proper assembly.
Set up, adjust, and operate brazing torches and related equipment to achieve strong, leak-proof joints.
Inspect joints for quality assurance, ensuring all work meets company and industry standards.
Work closely with welders, assemblers, and quality control teams to maintain production efficiency and accuracy.
Follow all safety protocols, including the proper handling of torches, gases, and other hazardous materials.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with 5S and lean manufacturing principles.
Identify and report any defects, material shortages, or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor or maintenance team.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes.

Position Description

We are seeking a skilled Brazer to join our manufacturing team in producing high- quality chillers for data centers. The Brazer will be responsible for assembling and joining copper and other metal components using brazing techniques to ensure the integrity and efficiency of our cooling systems. This position requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.

Hours: 2:00PM-10:00PM
Base Pay: $32.28
Shift Differential (2nd & 3rd) - $5.00

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various positions (standing bending, kneeling, etc.) for extended periods.
Knowledge of safety regulations, including proper handling of gases and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Education Requirements:
High school diploma of GED required; technical certification in brazing or welding preferred
