Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company in Natural Bridge, VA is seeking an Assembly (Brazer) Technician to assemble copper and metal components on the production line using brazing techniques, following prints and wiring diagrams. This 3rd shift role offers starting pay of $24.23/hour plus $1.50 shift differential, increasing after 9 months to $26.23/hour plus $1.50, with benefits from day one.

Position Description

AnAssembler (Brazer)Technicianis responsible forutilizingprints, workinstructionsand wiring diagramsin order toassembleproducton the production line.The position is also responsible forassembling and joining copper and other metal components using brazing techniques to ensure the integrity and efficiency of our cooling systems. Assembler (Brazer) Techniciansare responsible foradhering to all safety and quality requirements while meeting production schedule demands.

Hours: 3rd Shift: 10PM-6AM

Pay: Starting Rate is $24.23/hour after 9 months the pay rate will increase to $26.23

Shift Differential : 3rd Shift is &1.50/hour

Location: 43 Douglas Way, Natural Bridge, VA 24579

Key Responsibilities

• Using various manual and powered hand tools to assemble units according to customer specifications.
• Perform brazing and soldering of copper, brass, and other metal components in the fabrication of chiller assemblies.
• Perform brazing for refrigeration and watercircuitper print requirements.
• Perform high voltage, 3-phase wiring of electrical system.
• Ability to measure, cut, fit, and insulate water piping assembly.
• Readsblueprintswork instructions, and wiring diagrams to build ormodifyunits.
• Ensure completion of Quality and Production checklists/processes.
• Usecomputerto access and enter information including Windows based and CAD platforms. Keepsworkarea neat,cleanand orderly.
• Operate overhead hoists, manual hand trucks, and powered industrial trucks whenrequired.

Required Education & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Production experience in a make-to-order assembly role is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret prints, wiring diagrams, assembly checks and CAD modelsin order tomeet production specifications preferred.
