Job summary

Triumph Group is looking for a Braze Specialist to develop and monitor brazing and heat treatment processes in their Kentucky manufacturing facility. The role includes collaboration with engineering teams and troubleshooting process issues while ensuring quality control.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and strong knowledge of vacuum brazing and heat treatment processes related to aerospace components. The position offers comprehensive benefits including medical coverage and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with vacuum brazing for both reconditioning parts and brazing new parts.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work process instructions.
• Working knowledge of heat treatment and brazing processes, particularly in aerospace components.
• Knowledge of commercial brazing and heat treatment specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document brazing and heat treatment processes.
• Educate and train workers on proper procedures and processes.
• Monitor brazing performance to ensure targets are met.
• Lead braze process development, including trials and documentation.
