Triumph Group is looking for a Braze Specialist to develop and monitor brazing and heat treatment processes in their Kentucky manufacturing facility. The role includes collaboration with engineering teams and troubleshooting process issues while ensuring quality control.

The Braze Specialist will be responsible for developing, documenting, and monitoring brazing and heat treatment processes for components in our manufacturing facility. This includes furnace brazing and vacuum brazing, as well as various heat treatment processes such as solution treatment, stabilization, diffusion, precipitation hardening & aging, and stress relief for alloys like aluminum, stainless steel, and Inconel.
The Braze Specialist will work with Design and Manufacturing Engineering teams, as well as workers on the manufacturing floor, to troubleshoot and improve brazing processes. This role will focus on increasing the consistency and yield of brazing by studying processes and products before, during, and after brazing. This role will also be involved in some metallurgical work, including identifying samples for on-site lab review to resolve potential issues such as corrosion, incipient melting, maintaining heat levels and increasing the strength of our products.
