Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory is seeking a dedicated music program leader to work with children and adults in corps and community settings. You will plan and implement theory, performance skills, music, and values through weekly lessons and curriculum.

Responsibilities include leading music and arts programs, organizing recitals, encouraging growth and teamwork, coordinating performances and summer camps, and supporting the mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in music preferred or extensive teaching experience.
• Two years of music experience with children and/or adults.
• No certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Lead music and arts programs within the corps as assigned and plan weekly lesson content.
• Plan, attend recitals, and coordinate end-of-year concert participation.
• Encourage growth, teamwork, and positive engagement in musical activities.
• Organize performances and community events to promote the mission.
• Support summer camps and divisional music programs.
