Zusammenfassung

The Salvation Army is seeking a part-time Music/Arts Program Leader to work with children and adults, planning and delivering music theory, performance skills, and values-based activities within the corps and community.

Responsibilities include lesson planning, coordinating recitals, organizing performances, and supporting campers in summer programs, while fostering teamwork and personal growth.

Qualifikationen

• Education: Bachelor's degree in music preferred, or extensive experience teaching music.
• Experience: A minimum of two years’ music experience working with children/adults. Performance experience is preferred.
• Certifications/Licenses: None

Aufgaben

• Lead music and other arts programs within the corps as assigned and plan weekly music lessons.
• Prepare curriculum and coordinate recital planning with corps leadership and year-end concert participation.
• Encourage participants toward goals, self-esteem, and positive activities through musical development.
• Organize performances and community activities to promote the mission of The Salvation Army.
• Support summer camps and help plan campers’ participation in summer programs.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
