Job summary

Hook is a remote-friendly music social platform seeking a Social Media Lead to own our voice across platforms and develop a compelling content strategy. You will manage complex workstreams with agencies, influencers, and artist partners while ensuring posts are sharply drafted and on-brand.

You'll write copy, lead creator programs, and drive partnerships with labels and DSPs. This role offers growth with a path toward Head of Social or marketing leadership within Hook.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in social media, with strategy and execution experience.
• Exceptional copywriting with strong voice and versatility.
• Fluency in music culture and internet trends.
• Experience managing influencer/creator programs and external agencies.
• Experience running communities: DMs, comments, and fan moments.
• Strong project management across multiple workstreams.
• Ability to read analytics and tie to business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own Hook's social content strategy end to end and build an editorial calendar around cultural moments.
• Write sharp, culturally fluent copy for TikTok, Instagram, X, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
• Lead influencer and creator strategy from sourcing to management and briefs.
• Drive artist and label partnerships for social campaigns and collaborations.
• Manage external agencies and creators for content creation and media buying.
• Oversee community management, social listening, and mentor the coordinator.
• Plan and run integrated campaigns around product launches and marketing beats.
• Define success metrics and build reporting on growth, engagement, and conversions.
