Job summary

McGuireWoods LLP is seeking a Director of Brand Strategy & Communications to lead the evolution and activation of the firm’s brand across internal and external audiences. The role partners with the Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer to ensure a distinctive market position and consistent client experience.

The Director will drive storytelling, governance, and transformative communications, integrating brand, reputation and client impact across practices and markets.

Qualifications

• Requires college degree and several years in related communications or branding roles.
• Excellent time management, multi-tasking and organizational skills.
• Strategic thinker with ability to translate insights into differentiating brand narratives.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and evolution of the firm's brand strategy, messaging and narrative.
• Educate and engage lawyers and staff to adopt the brand across functions.
• Partner with leadership to align brand with business priorities and client needs.
• Oversee internal and external communications, digital channels and reputation efforts.
• Manage relationships with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistency.
