Job summary

McGuireWoods LLP is seeking a Director of Brand Strategy & Communications to lead the evolution and activation of the firm’s brand across internal and external audiences. You will work with the Chief MBD Officer and leadership to ensure a distinctive market position and integrated storytelling.

The role requires building a modern communications function, educating lawyers and professionals, and partnering across departments to deliver consistent brand experiences and outcomes across client

Qualifications

• Requires college degree; five to ten years in related communications experience; law degree highly desirable.
• Strong time management and multi-tasking skills.
• Strategic thinker with branding and messaging experience.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead the evolution and activation of the firm's brand across internal and external audiences.
• Educate and partner with the MBD department to translate brand into responsibility areas.
• Develop differentiation points and ensure consistent positioning across channels.
• Oversee storytelling strategy, thought leadership, and digital content.
• Drive governance for emerging technologies in communications and ensure brand standards.
